COMMUNITY SERVICE

Rev. Williams organized the Townsend Clifford Walton (TCW) Community Association out of Charity, and in partnership with the Enterprise Foundation and Mt. Hope Community Development Corporation, transformed the blighted area and abandoned buildings surrounding the church. These collaborative efforts resulted in increasing the quality of public services to the area and the development of approximately 200 rental and co-operative housing units. Charity has secured the needed financing and is currently in legal contract to purchase the residential building adjacent to the Church.
